Binding
Our wounds still fresh,
As the sun goes down.
We run for cover,
Fight for shelter.
We see the monsters,
Spring from our leaking soul.
As we run a uphill battle,
Our time grows short.
Rummaging though all the fear,
We find ourselfs behind walls,
Of questions,
Thoughts,
And fear of where we stand.
Step one,
Bind your wounds.
Let scabs become scars,
As the sun peaks over the horizon.
Step two,
Sing.
Sing your anthem,
Whatever it is that day.
Step three,
Start new.
The hardest step.
Let everything heal and get stronger.
You are the one to survive the night.
As the sun goes down.
We run for cover,
Fight for shelter.
We see the monsters,
Spring from our leaking soul.
As we run a uphill battle,
Our time grows short.
Rummaging though all the fear,
We find ourselfs behind walls,
Of questions,
Thoughts,
And fear of where we stand.
Step one,
Bind your wounds.
Let scabs become scars,
As the sun peaks over the horizon.
Step two,
Sing.
Sing your anthem,
Whatever it is that day.
Step three,
Start new.
The hardest step.
Let everything heal and get stronger.
You are the one to survive the night.
