The Obvious Is Never Enough
Men are pushovers.
Women don't dress to impress men;
they have them with lipstick
and one look.
Fucking DEVASTATING.
No, women dress
to say to each other,
"I own this shit.
It was made to be wrapped
around my body,
to have my blood
coursing through it
like a river of fire."
And when they tangle,
men watch in awe.
Two Titans
on the field
of sensuality
and in charge
of legions
of sumptuous pleasures?
Men need to stay back.
Watch. You might learn something.
This is not about you.
I'm me from the ground up,
not because of anything you did
or said or have
or think
or have cooking
on that half baked
griddle of your brain.
When I slide my knee
up into her sweet spot
and press in like
tectonic lust,
she knows that I know
that she is all mine.
And that is something a man
could learn
if only he would pay attention.
