Spot in the closet. A collaboration with maikeru555
Mommy tucks me in at night
She kisses me and turns out the light
My room becomes dimly lit
Shadows then dance along the walls
Except the spot in the closet
It resembles something horrific
I can't identify it
But I swear its looking this way
A long thin stick figure
With eyes that glow
I'm afraid to look so I cover my face
And pray for it go
When I look back up it's still there
Unblinking but staring my way
I move to the side the eyes stay wide
And they don't follow me I swear
Could it be, just a dream, or is there
Something really there
Or should I call my mom and dad to tell them that I'm scared
Hiding under the covers I sneak a peek
I stuff my teddy bear into my mouth
It stifles the dreadful screams
Something is heading over to my bedside
Tears stream down wetting my cheeks
The stuffed animal then pops out
A shrill noise whistles through my teeth
Getting louder I shout at the top of my lungs
The creature malformed inside of the darkness
Trudges on within striking distance
My door swings open just as it starts to swing
Mommy and Daddy are finally here for my rescuing
Looking around there is nothing there
They comfort my fears, tuck me in again and leave
I see its form juxtaposed right back at the same
Spot in the closet...
