A Lesson in Life.
How does it feel every morning
When all you wake up to is pure regret?
Wanting to take your life,
Or live it with plenty fret?
A life when there are no feelings,
Is a life that is not well lived.
But living your life with regret,
Is surely one that must be rid.
You have to be happy
Even when the skies are grey.
Just fake a smile if you have to,
And be on your way.
People want to see you down,
They want to push you,
Just far beyond a frown
So just do what you have to.
Keep that smile up;
No matter the pain.
Hide your feelings;
Don't ever complain.
Nothing is fair,
Just keep that in mind.
They want to see you angry
But don't be caught behind.
It doesn't matter the pain,
Or all of the lies.
Feelings must not be shown;
Remember this until you die.
When all you wake up to is pure regret?
Wanting to take your life,
Or live it with plenty fret?
A life when there are no feelings,
Is a life that is not well lived.
But living your life with regret,
Is surely one that must be rid.

Even when the skies are grey.
