They found me wandering aimlessly
lost in a dense forest
of the realm of imagination
to them I was a strange creature, indeed

Through their guidance
I found my way back to civilization
and honed my raw emotion into something more intelligible
turning my dreams into something twisted in the process

Many minds have been brought to power
since I first put pen to paper
and finally, I have been bestowed the honor
of carrying an ember of the sacred flame

I have become as one of the few
who guided me on my treacherous journey
I now carry the very torch
that once lit the path to my salvation

I must take care to rouse the flames
just enough to preserve it's essence
and never wield it's power with ill intent
to do so would incur the wrath of it's creator

I traverse the darkest corners
of the brightest of minds
offering protection to the strange, the twisted
until this flame selects another to bear it
