Relationships are never easy

Relationships are never easy
And we can say “I love you,” all we want
But not be able to keep it together.
All of us have dreams of what we want in our life.  
Yet, many of our dreams are never fulfilled
We often wonder about those dreams
And ask, “Could I have done it?
Could I have fulfilled those dreams?”

In our pursuit of happiness and self-esteem,
We have lost our ability to tolerate pain and frustration.
Many of us have turned to
Other things that would make us feel good,
To try to escape pain and reality.

But life is struggle, and change.
And we can get more out of life if we say,
“Am I willing to pay the price to get what I want?”

There is always a cost in everything I do.
And I want our love relationship to succeed
Therefore, I am willing to do what it takes,
So, when I say, “I love you.”
Know these are not just empty words,
But a willingness
To make our dream come true.
