SHELL
SHELL...
A shell
All it is, a shell
Smother's me, cover's me
Padded well
Heavily
Hidden within this shell
Luxurious? No
Abhor it, love it?
For inside this cushioning
Lies a person
Hidden
Inside, is "Me"
Reflection
Inner-self
Neglected, nay rejected
By society
Foget it
Let "Me" be "Me"
I shall shed
This heavy
Once a bodily bed
A swaddling
That covets
To be the same as other's
Pound for pound
Worth more
My weight in gold
You'll see
Inside this bondage
There is a "Me"
