As I saw him walk out my life
I saw my light
slowly disappear
This is what I have feared
"Genuine" love that wasn't real
How should I feel?

Should I feel sorrow,
as if there's no tomorrow
or learn to move on
this all feels so wrong
you said you'd always stay
but as of today
you're gone

Maybe I should feel
pity and remorse
towards myself
for letting someone make me
and then just break me
pick me up and throw me down
not even making a sound
just a broken inside
it was all just a lie
or maybe just true at the time
these thoughts racing through my mind
cant even control my own time
and I owe it all to you

We used to feel eachother's pain
so do you feel the agony i'm feeling right now?

They say that time heals
but if that was real
our time would be spent together
eternity
and
forever
remember?

Time doesn't heal
it just buries the pain
leaving it for another time
