from A to B was a wild ride
The smiles screech across our faces
from displaced feelings I detect
were dug up from the nights we wasted
while entwined and making sweat.
If my limbs could only reach you
and have you like I had you then,
I'd never search for satisfaction
in the draining of my pen.
And now my nights spent tossing turning,
through sacred sheets that we once twisted
and if you had one single doubt
just know this now: I fucking miss it
You'll be a stranger on the streets
its stranger now than I can comprehend,
how once we were sweet lovers,
and now with time, not even friends.
