The Wallflowers Are Fucking Strange

  


I was granted an audience with the devil
turns out it was just my reflection in the rain

Why are people so strange

When you are a wall flower
you can't help but observe
the ugly faces behind iron curtains
pulling society by its strings
psychologically manipulating nielsen polls
so today the blacks hate the jews
but next week
it will be christians and muslims
hand in hand on a gay bashing rampage

Why indeed is the role of the stranger the roll of the out cast

Ostracised for their wicked ways
of spreading lies
via debunked conspiracy theories

The mainstream media wouldn't lie right
when the weather woman replied
its all irrelevant

Explain to me why
I feel like an obtuse triangle
trying to fit in with the two party system
of circles and squares

Tell me then who truly is strange
the sheep
or the free thinking people
