here I am searching again
hoping and wishing and dreaming
that you'd be near
constantly checking and waiting
for your name to appear
at my job
yet my work it suffers
with you on my mind
my thoughts a fluster
prisoner by your charisma
your perfect skin
and gorgeous eyes
hold me captive again
hidden behind glass
and teddy bears
and lollipops
and a way with words
only a true poet can possess
so here I am again my love
waiting for that chance
or even just a moments glance
to see your face
...and ease the agony in my heart alas...
