Solitude
Heart turned dark.
Feelings run cold.
Lost and alone.
No hand to hold.
Burried my warmth,
Deep within.
Hiding myself,
From a world of sin.
Friends who once loved,
Now turn their heads from me.
If only I could open my heart,
For all to truly see.
Afraid of those
Wanting to grow near.
The closer they are, the more they hurt.
Everyone I must fear.
Is there one to earn my trust
Who is worthy of my heart?
Always appologizing for things I haven't done.
Always I am torn apart.
I must find myself again.
Feelings run cold.
Lost and alone.
No hand to hold.
Burried my warmth,
Deep within.
Hiding myself,
From a world of sin.
Friends who once loved,
Now turn their heads from me.
If only I could open my heart,
For all to truly see.
Afraid of those
Wanting to grow near.
The closer they are, the more they hurt.
Everyone I must fear.
Is there one to earn my trust
Who is worthy of my heart?
Always appologizing for things I haven't done.
Always I am torn apart.
I must find myself again.
