L M K U R OK
While I was flying high
chasing the freeway
to unholy destinations.
Make room for the drugs to drive.
Always tempting fate,
and begging devastation.
I've gotten good
at ignoring all the worried ones
all the ones who care if I'm here
Let that cellphone ring.
Let those chimes just echo
through my euphoria.
Until the high refuses me any movement.
Until my hands can't turn the steering wheel.
Until my body is twisted within the wreck.
And laying just in view,
Is that cellphone I've ignored reading
"Hey...
L M K UR OK!!!"...
