Sitting inside myself, behind myself, closing off all thoughts, all feelings 'cause I can't take any more pain
why does it have to be this hard to find home, somewhere I belong, everyone wants so much out of me and I oblige
but I can take anymore from myself and hand it over to someone else, you're gonna have to find it elsewhere and I'm gonna

giving knowing I have nothing to gain, selfless acts of altruism have apparently serious emotional repercussions.
