Racially Profiled
A young black man with a voice,
I would hope that when I speak you listen,
What's going on people?
Is there something in the legal system that we all are missing?,
When did the color of a persons skin become illegal,
People are scare to even look in the direction of the police,
Because just as soon as he tells you to put your hands up the situation may turn lethal,
Someone please help me to see the bigger picture,
A man loses his life trying to make a dollar out of 15 cent,
He tells you I can't breath!,
So you proceed to choke the life from his body,
Please someone tell me where this is right in the literature,
Tell me where is the Hero in that
Profile a man in a nice car because he's black,
He must be a thug or drug dealer right,
Racial Profiling,
Modern day slavery,
Keeping minorities bound in chains,
Please don't tell me all the good minorities have done will go in vain,
But one fact remains,
I was born minority that wasn't up to debate,
Faced and continue to face adversity but I stand pround young black and educated,
