Body Breaking, Heart Faking
Sleepy smiles and stolen kisses
In this moonlit pickup truck bed
Meteors mark the sky
Like the rebel streak in my heart
I'm playing a dangerous game
Although it's not that hard
A moment so warm and perfect
Feeling at perfect peace with you and me
But I feel no emotional attachment
I could walk away tonight
And never see you again
Because we'll never be
More than just "friends"
In this moonlit pickup truck bed
Meteors mark the sky
Like the rebel streak in my heart
I'm playing a dangerous game
Although it's not that hard
A moment so warm and perfect
Feeling at perfect peace with you and me
But I feel no emotional attachment
I could walk away tonight
And never see you again
Because we'll never be
More than just "friends"
