I Cried Today

My Mom died three weeks ago today
It kinda came up from me from behind
Mourning and grieving does that
You shed a few tears and continue on

I hardly ever cry
Sometimes it happens in the shower
Where it's natural to be with water
It was a relief to let it flow

Kiss your Mom today for me
Tell her it's a universal kiss
For the man known as Poetspeak
She'll get it and kiss you back I hope
