Sometimes when I feel down
When my mood turns low
I take my stethoscope
And listen

I hear the pounding of my heart
The gentle �lub-dub� cycle
It calms me

So many people forget about the heart
About the constant �lub-dub� that keeps you alive
It never stops, never wavers
Its only job
Is to keep you breathing

Maybe that�s why
The heart is tied to your emotions
Because for humans
Emotions are what life is all about
We all want to be happy
In love
At peace

But just as important as emotions are
The heart isn�t just about emotions
It�s about living, and staying alive
No matter what happens
No matter how bad you feel
Your heart
Will always be there for you
Working
Keeping you alive

So when I feel low
I�ll always remember
If my heart wants me to live
I can live
