the black mile
So I sit here on the electric chair
And honestly I really don't care
I put this all on my self
A victim of this cold hell
I ate my last meal and said my prayers
And then they strapped me in this chair
Hooked the needles to my veins
This will be my very last day
but It will all be alright
There should be peace on the other side
I asked them if they could make a request
Please grab the picture from my wallet
You see she is my girl
She is my world
But we parted ways
I never was the same
And I'm to blame
But I really need to see her
They nodded in silence opening the pain
Held the photo as close as he could to my face
and I started to cry
While I started to die
You see she was my girl
She is my world
But we parted ways
I never was the same
And I'm to blame
But I'm going to miss her
And honestly I really don't care
I put this all on my self
A victim of this cold hell
I ate my last meal and said my prayers
And then they strapped me in this chair
Hooked the needles to my veins
This will be my very last day
but It will all be alright
There should be peace on the other side
I asked them if they could make a request
Please grab the picture from my wallet
You see she is my girl
She is my world
But we parted ways
I never was the same
And I'm to blame
But I really need to see her
They nodded in silence opening the pain
Held the photo as close as he could to my face
and I started to cry
While I started to die
You see she was my girl
She is my world
But we parted ways
I never was the same
And I'm to blame
But I'm going to miss her
