you reach the turning point
but like on
St. James's Trail
Santiago is not the end.
Keep on walking
to Cape Finisterre
wondering what may lie behind
on the pilgrimage of life.
Be courageous!
Go far beyond this point!

For many years I never realised what Finisterre meant, it was just an unconsidered name, until it was mentioned on a weather forecast and it suddenly struck me like a lightning bolt from clear air. So it's nice to see it as an interesting and effective metaphor in a poem
