let go

Life it won't let go of me
No matter how hard I try to free
The years just wither away
Beauty in a dull day

The violin screams, out in the night
Searching for a lonely heart of light
The cellos moan, deep in the soul
Reminds us to let go

Life it won't let go of me
No matter how hard I try to free
The years just wither away
Beauty in a dull day

Cherished dreams, lost in the wind
Can only lead one to sin
Past memories, that brought the light
Are only forgotten when we die

Life it won't let go of me
No matter how hard I try to free
The years just wither away
Beauty in a dull day
Life it cries out for me
chained for an eternity
the wounds can never heal
And the touch never to feel
