I had forgotten how to laugh
I had forgotten how to laugh
donned my lady's lace
sat calm and reserved yet
burning for a savior an escape..
my hands folded neatly in my lap
as my passion cooled
my eyes downcast
as is proper
composed a little statuette of ice
until you woke me from my slumber
and laughed softly at my pretense
come dance
come dance
most pagan child
don't try and pretend
your feet are tapping out a little song
begging to give in
donned my lady's lace
sat calm and reserved yet
burning for a savior an escape..
my hands folded neatly in my lap
as my passion cooled
my eyes downcast
as is proper
composed a little statuette of ice
until you woke me from my slumber
and laughed softly at my pretense
come dance
come dance
most pagan child
don't try and pretend
your feet are tapping out a little song
begging to give in
