World Vision

It's two days away -
the parade, the
festivities, the
slowing down and
being with family
the aromas, the
anticipation, the
rest and relaxtion

The news isn't going
to throw me out into
the zone of violence
I believe in peace
and equality
Peace be within you
all

Remembering the
American Indians
and how this country
started isn't going
to bother me either
It's too insane to
even think about
The American Indians
are beautiful

I give thanks
for my health, having
a home, a check, friends,
peace of mind and so
much more
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

The craziness of the
world is separate
from me - I'm not
one to listen to
the news regularly
I stay focused on
my purpose and
visualize the earth
in a white, shimmering
light, protected from
all harm and disasters,
all violence and hatred,

A pure white vision
in space
I wish for peace to
every soul on earth
and love within their
hearts

To the reverent spirit
in you that is also
in me
