Black Bear (Ode to Robert Washick)
We can-not see you
Although your presence is know
However it may be.
It seems to follow us, follow us everywhere…
Anywhere our minds will take us
You’re with us now;
On the top of this mountain,
Down in the city,
And even in our dreams and wildest trips.
Your footprints remind us
They make us laugh
But they also send a chilling scare
To retreat, but not to forget
To remember, the beauty, the sights, the scenes
Remember the glow, and how you sent it from a million miles
How you warmed us on the top of that mountain
How you saved us, from a possibility of a fear
We Love You
Although your presence is know
However it may be.
It seems to follow us, follow us everywhere…
Anywhere our minds will take us
You’re with us now;
On the top of this mountain,
Down in the city,
And even in our dreams and wildest trips.
Your footprints remind us
They make us laugh
But they also send a chilling scare
To retreat, but not to forget
To remember, the beauty, the sights, the scenes
Remember the glow, and how you sent it from a million miles
How you warmed us on the top of that mountain
How you saved us, from a possibility of a fear
We Love You
