Natural Disaster
A tornado came
In an unexpected whirl
Blowing away the village
That once housed my sanity
It tore apart my stability
Flooded my thoughts
When it passed
When it was all over
I bent down
Stared at the wreckage that once housed my very being
And I began piecing back parts of my life
But the result never mirrored exactly what I had started with
Like missing pieces blew away
Fleeing from the scene
In an unexpected whirl
Blowing away the village
That once housed my sanity
It tore apart my stability
Flooded my thoughts
When it passed
When it was all over
I bent down
Stared at the wreckage that once housed my very being
And I began piecing back parts of my life
But the result never mirrored exactly what I had started with
Like missing pieces blew away
Fleeing from the scene
