Blinded and Dizzy

Some nice phraseology (absent of eye) and the surprising touch of hands on pavement, which immediately disorientates and creates a new perspective in the reader. Was the dying deliberately equivocal? Because it struck me as that immediately. However I found the poem a little diffuse. That's just a subjective view of course. Oh, and I looked at your profile and I am afraid I disagree with you completely. Skill in art is like skill in anything. It needs to be taught, considered and practised. The passion is something completely different.

Well I'd like to say this entire piece is a bit open to interpretation. I wasn't exactly going in any particular direction, I just let it come out, which could also explain your feeling of misdirection. P.s, You can't exactly practice anything without the drive and passion to do so. If you have no will to learn something, you can't exactly learn to do it. No one taught me to write the way I do, it was just always there because I have the passion to learn and improve myself. However, I do thank you for your close eye as well as the read and comment. Feel free to critique the rest of my poems if you please.

I don't want to get into an argument. Yes, I do, I'm an argumentative sod. I take your point that 'passion', in at least its widest sense, is a driving force behind many, if not all, actions (it all depends upon how wide you spread your umbrella term) but cause and effect are not identical. The passion may provide the motive force but is not the learning and practice that actually create and hone the skill. I stand by my first comment, that a skill needs to be learned and practised. Passion will not create it by itself. Over to you.
