Leaving

Leaving is never forever,
for the memories always follow.

But the price of a memory,
is the memory of the sorrow it brings.

A goodbye is never painful,
unless you never say hello again.

As the days go on, the pain eases,
for it's one less day till reconciliation.

It's time to journey from the anchor,
and learn the ways of the sea.

God guide me with a breeze and put me on the right path.

Even though I haven't left,

I want to go back.
