A Song That Knows My name
Sometimes I wish the questions would stop
Knowledge wont change the shape of this rock
Residing deep within my chest
Hard to believe that its for the best
Happiness is always waiting at the end
Wanting to see just how far you you can bend
And just before you break into two
It leaves you alone with but a tiny clue
So you can stand up and march further on
To the sweet melodies of your favorite song
For music is the only entity I trust
Cleansing my mind from all the disgust
The one thing that never stabbed my back
Track after track after track after track
Slowly making the insanity sane
Falling in love with a song that knows my name
Knowledge wont change the shape of this rock
Residing deep within my chest
Hard to believe that its for the best
Happiness is always waiting at the end
Wanting to see just how far you you can bend
And just before you break into two
It leaves you alone with but a tiny clue
So you can stand up and march further on
To the sweet melodies of your favorite song
For music is the only entity I trust
Cleansing my mind from all the disgust
The one thing that never stabbed my back
Track after track after track after track
Slowly making the insanity sane
Falling in love with a song that knows my name
