The Ghost's Widow
She met a man whom she thought she was his
supposedly missing rib,
she opted in with love to enclose his cage,
two love birds,
one family,
God blessed her womb,
the joy of five kids,
but how could she not know his parents or any
of his relative Just yet?
twenty years,
that's long and unbelievable,
although her pleas to see his parent were on
deaf ears,
she gave a nag that he fell for,
next morning was en route to his hometown,
they arrived, he pointed his parents house to
her,
he excused himself to say hi to his old friends,
she went into the house and explained herself
to his parents,
her story was like an acid poured on a fresh
wound to his parents,
they took her to his grave; he had died twenty-
five years ago,
It was so true,
he never came back from seeing his friends,
he had pro'bly disappeared to another vicinity
to start another family,
she wept and lived in fear for the rest of her life,
she was a living widow right from her wedding
day,
she had been married to a ghost,
but are her kids ghosts?
