the illegitimate child

The illegitimate Child
Once when juices were flowing like a river
Through my veins promising nothing but disgrace,
I masturbated behind a tree and hit it.
I know have a weedy looking and thin barked son
Who look like a spindly almond tree, winter time.
Responsible as I – his mother doesn’t care- I cover
My offspring under canvas at night, also when it rains.
Next year I will have to buy a military tent, it is
Amazing how tall he grows making me look old.
