Who am I?
In the mirror is a reflection
Of someone we claim to know
In the mirror is a reflection
Of someone neither friend nor foe
Trying to do the impossible
Pour the rain into a cloud
Trying to do the impossible
Making one a crowd
A new beginning in every prayer
We wish for something new
A new beginning in every prayer
A selfish one just for you
Look into the window pane
And watch the rain drops slide
Look into the window pane
They are the tears that build up inside
Ask your self the same old question
The answer you cannot deny
Ask yourself the same old question

Long time after posted EDIT NOTE: Well, turns out this poem was good enough to get published in the book "A Celebration Of Poets." I'm so happy.(:

the anti social aspect captured is amazing. And yet you can feel the burning for something more, and that something is a total mystery to us. It really leaves the reader to use their imagination and the connection is undeniable to those who feel lost or confused.
