Lament of the lifeless immortal
Buried in time, I see the light
and the light is so far away
If I could live through this
then I could live to dream another day
This tomb without walls is far too small
and I can't envision being free
a trade of meaning for life only to see
emptiness echo through eternity
Sell me my soul, I'm getting old
and I haven't anything to pay
the price was too high to never die
you never gave me what you promised me
and the light is so far away
If I could live through this
then I could live to dream another day
This tomb without walls is far too small
and I can't envision being free
a trade of meaning for life only to see
emptiness echo through eternity
Sell me my soul, I'm getting old
and I haven't anything to pay
the price was too high to never die
you never gave me what you promised me
