Another Good Friday
400 black men, women
and children gather
to shout their 'hallelujahs'
over the desperate cries
of teary-eyed preachers.
Many are turned away;
god didn't anticipate
such a turn out.
The whites have their say
marching a crucifix
down the highstreet
in bad taste,
whilst the caucasian preacher
riding up front
shouts about the wrath of god.
He seems worried,
yet quite confident in the 'knowledge'
that we fucked things up for him.
Today 2 + 2 = God,
whatever you do
don't correct them.
Take a sincere mental condition
add one hell of an imagination
and there's no guessing
what these crazy bastards might do.
I'm staying out of it,
sausage sandwiches
and cigarettes
not a word of fairy tales.
Not a word.
