A Deadly Footrace
A deadly footrace is what my life's become
A footrace that has only just begun
I try to stay in first, but all effort's in vain
My past catches up, and fills me with pain
This race can only have but one victor
Most likely the other will let me die and wither
Every step i take gets me farther ahead
In this deadly footrace I see in my head.
A footrace that has only just begun
I try to stay in first, but all effort's in vain
My past catches up, and fills me with pain
This race can only have but one victor
Most likely the other will let me die and wither
Every step i take gets me farther ahead
In this deadly footrace I see in my head.
