I peer into the night
wonderingly searching for
things beyond the edge.
.
moonlight and fireside,
songs and stories beyond compare
soon the sun will intrude.
.
alone I am, in this grand world
where the sun does not shine
nor light of day intrude
.
with sadness I see the dawn begin,
the sun rising on towards noon
another day pass, and night begins
