Aches and pains

i miss you so much my whole entire body hurts.
every delicate limb, flexible muscle. even these
shaky bones are rattling in my flesh, begging for you.
each atom that makes up each molecule that makes up
each cell. the ones that my physical existence is
composed of. they cry for you. silently, secretly.
hidden behind pale satin elasticity. they should have
no shame, my skin weeps too. droplets of salty moisture
rolling from head to toe. wanting to escape like caged
roses. yearning for a release from my strangulation.

these aches make me a liar. say it's just growing
pains, part of growing up.
