Christmas time will soon be here
we enjoy ourselves this time of year
children excited and opening presents too
mum and dad happy for you
enjoy the presents that have been bought
but let each person spare a thought
spare a thought for our soldiers
who may be on the front line
and wont be home in time
some people missing loved ones
spare a thought for the less fortunate
visit people who live alone
make a wish for all
we have peace on earth
and goodwill around the world
