Talking to You (Still in My Head)

Removing my armor and making myself vulnerable.  
Placing my complete trust in you.  
Hoping you will protect me.  

Asking you to let your guard down.  
Realizing it is difficult based on your past experiences.
Still seeing some of your walls intact.  

Can you...Will you trust me with your heart?

Are you truly happy now?
Maybe I feel like I failed you in some way.  
Or is it just my mind putting words in your mouth?

Someday I hope my worries will be dispelled.
