Mirror
She looks in the mirror
wondering why
she has to hide
behind all the lies
why is she denied
the right to speak her mind
why do they see nothing but a pretty face
a smile of sincerity
beautiful eyes that hide so many of these lies
never seeing the lines
past blood stains
they seem to be blind
or is it they deny
the responsibility
of causing these pains inside
wondering why
she has to hide
behind all the lies
why is she denied
the right to speak her mind
why do they see nothing but a pretty face
a smile of sincerity
beautiful eyes that hide so many of these lies
never seeing the lines
past blood stains
they seem to be blind
or is it they deny
the responsibility
of causing these pains inside
