Baggage

I have mine, and you have yours
I'm broken, and you're damaged.
Defective models, making peace with our flaws.
You've been through a lot. And I have too.
No one else knows what it's like to walk in our shoes.
So we found each other.
Two damned souls in the dark.
Wounded animals looking for shelter.
And we found it in each others arms.
Because the world can't get her when she's locked in my embrace.
And nothing else matters when I gaze upon her face.
We all have baggage.
I have mine, and you have yours
