Counter Betray

It's not a puzzle that can be solved
Not a posession that you can keep
There is no warmth to offer you company
It shoots to thrill you, dead in a dream
You broke a promise, I'd die to keep

I would indeed, but why should you care?
To try and break it
I couldn't sleep, but why should you care?
To confiscate it

Holy rollers are here to preach again
I have  been sold out here as a sheep
Feeling naked other than the rain on my skin
The cold in the throat makes it hard to breathe

Tomorrow seems like any other day to die
Don't worry, you'll have some company
With the guilt you aim to disguise

I would indeed, but why should you care?
To try and break it
I couldn't sleep, but why should you care?
To confiscate it

And I'll have more fun than I have had in years
And when you sleep again, I will infect your tears
And when I breathe, you won't be there
No one to to try and break it
No one to confiscate this
