Have you heard, or read anything about, Charles Cooley...(1864-1929) He had some very interesting ideas that surround the social construct as to do with self and humanness. He said, that that thing we're all in search of, "the self", can only develop from interaction with others via three elements of humanness, and then he outlines them. I think this makes story telling and diversity very important. I don't mean to teach. I just find sociology very interesting. He coined the term, "looking-glass self."
