I Lied
I hold you so close in my mind
But the reality isn't so kind
I love you but you don't love me
And I'm getting over the misery
I laugh as the pain settles down
I smile when on the inside I frown
And I hold you close in my mind
As my sanity slowly begins to unwind
I fell in love with your poetry
I became a very loyal devotee
So much is not happening with us
And sometimes I wish you'd get hit by a bus
Every now and then you message me
And sometimes I wish you would let me be
I love your tough exterior and your soft inside
I love all the things you say and all the things you hide
But what can I say, what can I do?
When part of me will always be in love with you
I love nearly everything about you, it's true
And knowing you don't love me makes me so blue
But the reality isn't so kind
I love you but you don't love me
And I'm getting over the misery
I laugh as the pain settles down
I smile when on the inside I frown
And I hold you close in my mind
As my sanity slowly begins to unwind
I fell in love with your poetry
I became a very loyal devotee
So much is not happening with us
And sometimes I wish you'd get hit by a bus
Every now and then you message me
And sometimes I wish you would let me be
I love your tough exterior and your soft inside
I love all the things you say and all the things you hide
But what can I say, what can I do?
When part of me will always be in love with you
I love nearly everything about you, it's true
And knowing you don't love me makes me so blue
