Young Love
Moonlit nights,
Shimmery stars own the sky.
Your love turns diamonds
From the tears I cry.
In the darkest of dusk,
In full candlelight,
Your silhouette,
Indeed a gorgeous sight.
My heart beats a rythm
Of your reflection.
I'm worthless without
Your deepest affection.
A magnet, I'm drawn
With no resistance.
With miles between us,
Hence nothing but distance.
For the winds that blow
In my direction,
I find you beside me
With sweet perfection.
Young love it may be,
Believed to fade.
Yet the sun always rises
Breaking through the Moon's shade.
Young love this may be,
Like a flower in bloom.
It's only a bud,
A gorgeous rose pretty soon.
Shimmery stars own the sky.
Your love turns diamonds
From the tears I cry.
In the darkest of dusk,
In full candlelight,
Your silhouette,
Indeed a gorgeous sight.
My heart beats a rythm
Of your reflection.
I'm worthless without
Your deepest affection.
A magnet, I'm drawn
With no resistance.
With miles between us,
Hence nothing but distance.
For the winds that blow
In my direction,
I find you beside me
With sweet perfection.
Young love it may be,
Believed to fade.
Yet the sun always rises
Breaking through the Moon's shade.
Young love this may be,
Like a flower in bloom.
It's only a bud,
A gorgeous rose pretty soon.
