Tapped Out (a Repost)

    A man gingerly walks
towards a table,
    using his cane
because he’s disabled.
Disillusioned  with life
a long time ago.
Pain in his eyes,
the tears start to flow...
Said to a guy  near  to him,
"My time here is done",
then asked  "where’s  the  men’s room?"
Once inside, he pulled out a gun...
BANG!!...

" Was that a...?!? ", You heard someone shout.
Yes it was, you see the  dude just tapped out.

Working  girl,  just  turned her last trick.
Getting out  the game; she’s going legit.
Things didn’t  go down liked she planned.
She can’t figure out  how to leave that man.
He beat badly for the very last time.
Money from her again? Not one dime.
Maid found her the next day,
her body was  stiff and cold.
Sad to say this is gettin' old...
pain needed an end, helpless she felt
leaving no doubt, she just tapped out.

Soldier’s heart so heavy and forlorn.
Wants to leave a country that’s so war-torned.
Can’t just up and go, so what does he do?
Engages the enemy, the whole damn crew.
“killed in combat” is what the papers spout!
he’s gone now... but you know he tapped out!

The poor little baby born with a dreadful disease.
Lived  for a few weeks, but next stop heaven please...
she fought as much as she can yet, in the end she lost out.
Her Parents knew she tried, but failed and tapped out.
