Above and Beyond

This world has gone and lost it's mind, in some ways
children crying, people lying, wondering what the fighting's for
pointing fingers, trading blame, won't reset life to yesterday
there's no second glances, only chances to make a change
As I sit and pray, I forget about trivial things
there's somebody out there who needs my prayers much more
than I ever realized before

asking questions, chasing answers, trying to appease all sides

searching for a remedy, to discover peace
