My thoughts bring me pain, and joy
You say you want me as a husband, and a father
You say you truly love me
And you mean everything you say
But at times I feel like you don't care
About my feelings or how your actions affect me
When you talk to other guys, I get jealous
And I fear of you leaving
I see you getting pushed around
And my anger is aroused so easily
I've given you my heart

I'm careful, just as you are, not to drop it
When we first began dating
It was something new
I hadn't had anyone for so long
Now I have you
We've made promises we intend to keep
Promises that mean so much to me
