It’s hard to describe
The heat that sits in my chest
I cannot say I love you,
Because it’s not enough anymore.
It seems to me I've fallen
And tumbled all the way down
I didn’t expect you with me
Nor the ‘togetherness’ we’ve found.

For me I sense almost contradictory currents; on one hand the rush of romantic love but yet the reluctance to be injured.
