Sweet September Breeze
Gliding across my mind, the thoughts of my sweet serenity
But such thoughts never succeed to be reality
The kindness of natures push and pull against the shore of an ocean
Clearing the mind of thoughts unpleasant
Cleansing the body with the cool refreshing water
Letting myself be engulfed in natures way of life
Walking along far to nowhere
The thoughts creep along the walls of uncertainty
The horizon in sight but no destination in mind
Sweet September wind blows gently across my skin
The scent of on coming rain grows heavy
Darkened sky shows from side to side
Laying against a soft sweet bed of light green grass
Looking up to a clouded sky, darken by shadows
Rains first drop lands upon my cheek, rolling down to the ground
The thoughts pass through my mind, wondering everlastingly
Cleansing my mind the rain glides across my face
Laying in a field of wet grass, no worries to cross my mind
Drifting into a blissful sleep, covered in the skies embrace
Opening my eyes to see the dark September night
The moon lies directly above my field of vision
Glistening upon myself the moon sheds its kind light
Reminding me of whats to come, what has been done
The future is already set, yet always changing
The moonlight embraces me with the warm glow
Closing my eyes once more, I fall away
I walk along the grassy field, farther away from the shore I once laid
My mind floods with thoughts of my sweet serenity
Next thing I know I'm back on streets unknown
Walking along sidewalks fluttered with outcasts and seekers
Fire overflows a barrel surrounded by many
Heat blares around the fiery waves like thunder off lightning
A fight roars over a crowd, yelling, pushing, pulling
Minds escalating with adrenaline
All thoughts of kindness gone, natures serenity nowhere in site
Bones shattered, blood spilled
Men in uniforms enforcing the end appear
The crowd dissipates within seconds, no evidence of change
Sitting on the side of a bridge out of the way city limits
My mind wonders from thought to thought, worsening
Until the time has come for my leave, to make do with what is around is a necessity
The unwell being of what comes from the unnatural sheds a shadow on the mind
The sound of the oceans waves leave my ears wishing
The feel of the rains cooling touch leaves my mind cleansed
The touch of the soft grassy field leaves my body wanting
The embrace of the moons gentle light leaves me unsettled
The blaze of the fires heat leaves me cold
But my mind wonders for that sound, that feel that touches them all
That cool but warm breeze that glides against my skin
That breath of freshness that comes with each sweep
My body yearns for that knowing it leaves
That sweet September breeze
But such thoughts never succeed to be reality
The kindness of natures push and pull against the shore of an ocean
Clearing the mind of thoughts unpleasant
Cleansing the body with the cool refreshing water
Letting myself be engulfed in natures way of life
