Holding onto the severed ties.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to fully let go.
But I'll be damned if I let the suffering hold me back.
Though time has not given me salvation.
I can't keep waiting here like this.
I've bled too many times for you.
I've pushed myself too far away.
Some call it withdrawal. Others call it isolation.
I call it life with a cruel twist of fate.
I've found a way to make it out but I'll be shaded by the scars.
I know you'll never read this. But I want you to know.
I'm still happy I spent three years of my better life with you.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to fully let go.
But I'll be damned if I let the suffering hold me back.
Though time has not given me salvation.
